We currently have 3 baby lemmings, who were born on approximately the 23/12/09. We have not sexed the babies yet, but hope to do so soon.
When we go they will be looking for a new home. As Steppe Lemmings are so social they must go together, as introducing lemmings to another group is usually very difficult. Lemmings need to be kept in glass tanks, as they are able to get out of wire cages because they are so tiny. They are not particularly difficult to keep, and are very fun to watch.
