Name Meaning: Aladdin was named after the Disney film.
Notes: Aladdin is a lovely variegated buck. His dad and uncle are both getting on, so we kept him in the hope of replacing them as a stud buck. We're hoping to be able to show Aladdin this year.

Name Meaning: Astro was originally going to be named Astronomy, but my partner has always struggled with that word, and it's an ongoing joke that it's really Astronomophy, so Astronomophy it was!
Notes: Astro is a lovely lad, he's playful and yet still happy to have a cuddle. He popcorns around his cage like a baby. He lives with a range of differently aged bucks and introduces easily to other rats. He has lovely dark points and nice even shading. Astro has nice eyes and a generally nice body shape. He has slightly odd shaped ears however. Astro has yet to sire a litter but I suspect he will at some point as he's a lovely buck.

Notes: Atlas is a lovely black buck, who will be used in our breeding plans. He is looking to be very handsome and is very sweet and confident.
Caledonian Brazzle Dazzle Day

Name Meaning: Brazzle Dazzle day is a Disney song.
Notes: Dazzle was born to one of my does, Delphi, with another breeder. I knew I wanted a Russian Blue buck baby from the litter and when he was the only russian based non-siamese buck I decided I would have him anyway and deal with the extra colour issue, thinking he was a russian dove, which with mink already in the line it was neither here nor there. When Dazzle arrived we were more leaning towards him being a Russian Silver. I thought I would show him at NFRS Clevedon so I could at least get a critique on his colouring, hoping the judge would disagree with our guess. Unfortunately this wasn't the case.. and Dazzle got placed first in his class.. and went on to with Best in Show! Thus suggesting he was indeed a Russian Silver. We have plans to test mate Dazzle to a British Blue doe to prove one way or another if he is British Blue based, and we will then make a decision as to whether to use him in our Siamese line or not.

Notes: Capricorn is part of the Siamese line, I am hoping to test a theory as to whether the himalayan gene makes the siamese darker or not. Cappy is a lovely boy, and is very sweet and cuddly.

Name Meaning: Ben is named after the food item, we thought it'd be appropriate to give the first lot of Variegated food names relative to their colouring and markings!
Notes: Ben is a stunning buck to look at, he has one dark ruby eye and one red eye, his odd eyes are caused by a wonky blaze up his face. He is a lovely chap and is friendly and confident. He likes to have a good cuddle.
Ben sired a litter of 15 to Hakuna Matata Sausage and a litter of 14 to Hakuna Matata Rumour has it.

Name Meaning: Dizzy is named after the Disney song 'Go the Distance' from the film Hercules.
Notes: Dizzy is from a litter with HKM Rumour and HKM Ben, we are hoping that Dizzy will replace his dad as a future stud buck. Dizzy is a very laid back buck, and got best pet at NFRS Cardiff in May 2010.
